T O P I C R E V I E WembangloyHere is my dilemma,In July 1991, I visited the Edwards Air Force Base gift shop and purchased the STS-40 patch. This one in particular measures approximately 5 inches across. This last February, I was in Huntsville and saw the STS-40 patch and noticed that it was much bigger. When I got home, my suspicion was correct. This patch measured 6+ inches across. So, my questions are:Which one could be considered the "most" official? (I would like to believe the one I purchased on Edwards in 1991). Which one is likely the one the astronauts wore? Are both of these AB Emblem patches? (I believe that both are AB, but just confirming).KAPTECMine is from 1991 and is 6+ inches wide... I bought it from AB Emblem.Jorge.Jacques van OeneIf you look at the STS-40 crewphoto you can see that the crew is wearing a large patch on the suits, so if you would have looked at that photo you would have known the answer to your own question...------------------Jacques :)www.spacepatches.nl
